Write as you talk – there is no talkers block
I have reached struggle town with this blog. Following advice I have kept it all business. Blogging about what we do and what we can do for clients. {YAWN} My need to blog is to find my voice, my voice beyond facebook posts. My voice is not particularly profound, but I have something to say and I love how blogging gives so many that voice. I have spent the past few weeks delving into blogs about blogging. I love that there are bloggers blogging about blogging – I’m a blog geek, it tickles my fancy! One of my favourite bloggers is Seth Godin, prolific blogger extraordinaire. Seth is quoted on Andrew Marvin’s blog “Its not hard for me to blog everyday, because I write like I talk”. This quote has become my mantra, my blogging mantra. Seth elaborates on that in his post, “Talkers block”.
I totally resonate with this post, I just get it. My struggle with this blog stems from writing too straight, and totally boring. That’s just not me. Not saying I am the most exciting creative around, I am a geeky designerd, many would say my writing is a BABS {boring as bat sh..} but I know I am not alone and I hope a few of you enjoy my ramblings.
